Organize your pictures in subfolders with PixFolder!

PixFolder can also create a Microsoft PowerPoint slideshow with your pictures. Simply go to the subfolder where your pictures are, or select pictures you want to create as a PowerPoint slideshow, and tap save as PowerPoint menu. Your PowerPoint slideshow can directly be saved to desktop computer, or uploaded to SkyDrive.

Do you have pictures that you don't want others to accidently come across? Hide them in plain sight!

PixFolder supports hiding its subfolders. Once hidden, the subfolder can only be accessed by entering its name; it will not be shown on available subfolder list.

You can also backup and restore pictures on PixFolder with ease. As the backup files of PixFolder are in standard ZIP file format, you can readily access and modify a backup file using common desktop software. You can archive it as it is, or extract pictures and merge them to your collection. PixFolder also includes "sync" function for automatically downloading and/or uploading only pictures missing from either your phone or desktop computer.

ACCESSING AND CREATING SUBFOLDERS

Swiping to left reveals a subfolder listing. In this pane, you can move into one of the listed folders or create a new one.

If you wish to move out of the current folder, swipe to right from the pictures pane. You can also change the current folder by tapping the folder path header.

HIDING A FOLDER

You can hide a folder and prevent others from accidentally viewing your pictures. In order to hide a folder, simply go to the folder and select "hide/unhide this folder" menu. You can also hide a folder by selecting "hide" from the folder popup menu.

In order to access a hidden folder, go to the parent folder of the hidden folder and use "open folder" menu on folder listing pane.

When you use the backup feature of PixFolder, it also includes hidden folders. Thus if you cannot remember the name of a hidden folder, you can simply check the backup file. Also, if you wish to make a hidden folder reappear, remove its hidden folder marker file "hide" from the backup file before restoring. (PixFolder backup files are in standard ZIP file format, hence you can use common desktop compression software to access them.)

SAVE FOLDER AS POWERPOINT SLIDESHOW (.PPTX)

PixFolder supports creating a Microsoft PowerPoint slideshow (.pptx) with your pictures. Simply go to the subfolder where your pictures are, or select pictures you want to create as a PowerPoint slideshow, and tap save as PowerPoint menu. Your PowerPoint slideshow can directly be saved to desktop computer, or uploaded to SkyDrive.

Don't have PowerPoint? No problem! You can view or print PowerPoint slideshow created in PixFolder with the free PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft. You can download the viewer from the following Web site:

PIXFOLDER AND SKYDRIVE

PixFolder seamlessly integrates SkyDrive. When you save pictures as a PowerPoint slideshow (.pptx), you can either choose Hann Server for uploading directly to your desktop computer or SkyDrive. For SkyDrive, you also have an option to get a shared link for the uploaded file. Your friends and colleagues can easily access the file using the provided shared link.

Please note that if you already have a file with the same name as the uploading file, it will be overwritten. However, if a shared link was already issued for the existing file, it can still be used for accessing the newly uploaded file. If you wish to change its access permissions or invalidate the issued shared link, please use SkyDrive management Web site.

BACKUP AND RESTORE

You can backup all your pictures to a desktop computer and have them easily restored whenever you need. Also, as the backup files of PixFolder are in standard ZIP file format, you can readily access and modify a backup file using common desktop software. You can archive it as it is, or extract pictures and merge them to your collection.
