I'd like to see the ability to force the client to display a line-wrap that does not break up a sequence midway, and instead chooses to wrap based on a structure similar to the correlation between "words and spaces". IE: if a sequence of characters does not contain a space, attempt to display the entirety of that sequence on a single line--and if such a thing is not possible, simply do a normal line-wrap.
For example,
---------------------------------------------
a block of text or sequence of chara
cters tends to break in such a mann
er as displayed here,
---------------------------------------------
while I'd rather see something more along the lines of,
---------------------------------------------
a block of text or sequence of
characters that tends to break in a
manner as displayed here.
---------------------------------------------
Though exceptions might exist as well, and could be resolved by a normal line-wrap as such,
---------------------------------------------
averylongsequenceofunbrokenchar
acters wraps as per the normal
line-wrap function.
---------------------------------------------
Additionally, I wouldn't mind seeing the ability to run more than one session through the client, or at least more than one copy of the application on the same machine.
Anyway, I was recently directed toward Token2Shell/Mobile from a user that suggested it over what I currently use for terminal sessions, (Pocket Putty), and am in the process of trying out the demo. I am exceedingly impressed, and the above described "issues" are the only functionalities I find myself missing in its robust options.
Thank you for the comments and suggestions! :-)
For your information, the character-wrap you're seeing on Token2Shell/Mobile screen is usually done before the text is passed to Token2Shell/Mobile. So, such word-wrap option may not have much of use under UNIX shell. (There may be already an option that enables "word-wrap" in UNIX shell.)
Anyhow, we'll look into them more thoroughly and if possible add the functions in the future version.
